The 2015 Cape Gate Vaal Marathon taking place on Sunday 1st March 2015 and will be the 41st running of this ever growing and well organised event. It will again start and finish at the Dick Fourie Stadium, Klipriver Drive, Three Rivers, Vereeniging.

This is a 4 race event, a 42.2 km Marathon, 21.1 km Half Marathon, 10 km Development Race and a 5 km Fun Run, with all races starting and finishing at the same venue.

42.2 km Marathon
A highlight on the road running calendar!  This two-lapper gently meanders through four suburbs of Vereeniging and has a section along the banks of the Vaal River.  While it is 
fair to say that the route is flat, it is by no means the easiest marathon; you will have to work the whole way.  This race also serves as a qualifier for the Comrades Marathon and the last qualifier for Two Oceans Marathon in Gauteng.

21.1 km Half Marathon
Fast, flat, single lap of the marathon route.

10 km Development Race
Fast, flat route though a suburb of Vereeniging.

5 km Fun Run
Run... Walk... Fun for the whole family
