Nampak is Africa’s largest packaging manufacturer, holding the leading market share in South Africa as well as having interests in packaging companies in eight other African countries. Nampak manufactures the most diverse range of products in the world, a wide range of technologies in paper, plastics, metal and glass.

Nampak Tissue is a division of the Nampak consumer products division. It is the leading manufacturer of tissue, fluff and other related household products in Southern Africa. Well known domestic brands include Twinsoft, Twinsaver, Lifestyle, Cuddlers, Glad foil and Hulett foil. One of Nampak Tissue’s three South African paper manufacturing mills is located at Kliprivier. Nampak Recycling collects, processes and controls approximately 200 000 tons of paper a year. This volume is converted into wastepaper products at its three paper mills located in Southern Africa.

Nampak Foodcan has been serving the Southern African canning industry for more than 60 years. The combined production of Foodcan’s tinplate can-making plants at Vanderbijlpark, Paarl and an associate company in Walvis Bay, Namibia, is almost one billion cans a year. This is to meet the demands of the fruit, fish, vegetable, jam, meat and pet food markets.
